I thought Foxmask was darker and more" mythic" than Juliet Marillier's other novels. The setting and stakes are much harsher than in the other novels I have read by her. (I haven't read Wolfskin though, so maybe it's similar). Juliet Marillier was born July 27, 1948 in Dunedin, New Zealand and grew up surrounded by Celtic music and stories.
