California Pt. 2

Traveling to California has been a marvelous adventure for me. In my (semi-)adulthood, I’ve managed to successfully integrate travel into my lifestyle, and have been able to visit California on my own twice now. This time, I headed out to finally complete my first half marathon! (Post with a running recap to come soon!)

This time around, we spent tons of time doing wine tastings around Napa. Among the wineries we tested was Mumm Napa, Paraduxx, Hall, and Alpha Omega. Each of them were unique in their own way, and it’s amazing to see how different all the wines are! imageimageimageimageimageimageimage

After two days of wine and a 13.1 mile run, we stopped at one of my favorite places, Bouchon Bakery for some treats before heading into San Francisco. There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a cappuccino and macaroon from this fantastic bake shop.

We weren’t blessed with the bluest of skies this time around, but San Francisco still took my breath away. From visiting the Painted Ladies down Lombard Street to Fishermans Wharf and Pier 39, we had the best time exploring the city!

Until next time California!
