Indulge on This: Gooey Funfetti Cookies

I’m a huge fan of the cheat meal. What can I say? I have a sweet tooth. I first heard of these funfetti cookies when visiting one of my friends while she had them in the oven. The smell of these cookies baking is absolutely mouth-watering, so as soon as the first batch popped out I had to try them.

They might be the greatest cookies I have ever had the pleasure of having. They are a very heavy cookie, so you don’t need more than about two at a time to feel satisfied- which is a very good thing! I insisted she give me the recipe so I could try to make them on my own.

The batter took less than 20 minutes to make, and the cookies need to bake for about 10 minutes. This is an easy recipe for a really awesome cookie!

Recipe:

1 box of Funfetti cake mix

1/2 cup of softened butter

1 egg

8 oz room temperature cream cheese

1/4 cup of rainbow sprinkles

1/4 cup of powdered sugar

1. Beat cream cheese, butter, and egg together until smooth. Add in cake mix and sprinkles. Chill the dough for 30 minutes to an hour.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Form 1 inch balls from the dough and roll in powdered sugar before placing them on a cookie sheet about 1 and a half inches apart.

3. Bake for about 10 minutes until the tops of the cookies are slightly golden. Don’t overcook or they won’t be as gooey and yummy on the inside!
